I wanted to let everyone know what we have been doing here at Friends of Narconon lately.

The biggest project on our lines right now is finishing the new film Ecstasy - The Real Story.

It features Bobby Wiggins along with inside stories from drug dealers who tell us how they ply their trade on their victims. What is more dramatic about Ecstasy is that kids can actually drop dead from the first time just trying it. This has happened.

During the research of this new film I approached the Los Angeles Coroners Office to get reports on all Ecstasy related deaths within the last 5 years.

Needless to say this took some prodding because they had never had a request like this before. In any event, we finally got the report and one story in particular rings true to the real situation.

Rather than me tell you a version of it, I thought you should read the exact information straight from the Coroner's office:

Synopsis:

"ON 7/11/01 SHORTLY AFTER 2000 HRS THE DECEDANT., A 12 YR. OLD, WAS GIVEN 1/2 AN 'ECSTASY' TABLET BY HER 16YR OLD BOY FRIEND DURING A KISS. SHORTLY AFTER, THEY HAD SEX, THEN ATE AND WATCHED TV. AT APPROX 2130 HRS SHE BEGAN CONVULSING, VOMITED THEN PASSED OUT. 911 WAS CALLED AND PARAMEDICS RESPONDED TO THE SCENE. THEY FOUND HER IN FULL ARREST, BEGAN CPR AND TRANSPORTED HER TO LAC/USC HOSPITAL. WHEN SHE DIDN'T RESPOND TO RESUSCITATIVE MEASURES, DEATH WAS PRONOUNCE AT 2312 HRS. THE BOY FRIEND IS IN CUSTODY APD."

This is a common method used by young kids to share their experience.

As you can see this is a sad story. But you should know that is why we are doing this next video. It will be released in Two Parts.

The type of information in this video will get a lot of attention and ensure that kids are fully equipped with all the information they need to make an informed decision.

I can tell you that when we were filming this piece, after the talks, many kids we interviewed actually broke out in tears because they were so sure the friends they knew who were doing drugs were going to die.

If that is any sign of what the results will be, we have a wonderful opportunity to reach kids about this drug before they go down the dark side of using Ecstasy. I hope this story illustrates the importance of this project for you all.

Again, this drug is not like drinking a beer or smoking marijuana. Kids can drop dead from just one dose. It is like playing Russian Roulette with their life.
