Friends of Narconon President's Briefing -- Issue 65   PDF  Print  Email

It's like having a crystal ball into a teenager's mind...

(SPECIAL limited-time OFFER BELOW)

I've never met a parent who said, "When my kids grow up, I want them to be drug addicts." Have you?

Most parents work hard to provide for their kids and want the best for them.

Whether they've lived a "clean" life or did a lot of "partying" growing up, they dread the thought of their children turning to drugs.

Yet, so many do! We must ask, "How come?"

What really goes on in a young person's mind and life, that a parent may not know about?

Wouldn't it be helpful, if not invaluable, for parents to understand why their kids would turn to drugs?

They could then do something about this potential problem, before it starts.

Although all parents I've talked to said they'd love to know what's really going on in their kids' lives, I've found that many thought they already knew.

Those parents whose kids did turn to drugs, resulting in jail, homelessness and a myriad of other problems, were shocked to learn how mistaken they'd been in thinking they knew their kids and their lives inside and out.

Drugs do not discriminate.

Whether you are an affluent parent whose kids attend private school or can only afford public school, the risk is still the same.

And so we see upscale, middle class and lower class families alike having kids who go down the spiring path of drug use and addiction.

In my observation, most kids who did not turn to drugs had a unique type of relationship with their parents.

Would you like to know what it was?

If so, get our DVD Marijuana The Myth and watch the feature "Why Kids Take Drugs." Here youth candidly reveal, from their own experience and views, why kids turn to drugs.

It's like having a crystal ball into a teenager's mind!
