What Can I do about the Drug Problem?

When we consider the extent of today's drug problem it can seem overwhelming.

The fact of the matter is, it is a big problem!

Drug abuse affects all of us in one way or another.

Whether through increased health costs, paying with our tax money to support the prison population, accidents caused by those "under the influence," or being victimized by addicts trying to get money for their next fix, the drug epidemic impacts all of us.

So we have to ask ourselves, what can we do about this?

Truthfully, there is one simple thing we can do to turn the ever-increasing tide of drug abuse - we can (and must) provide our youth with the truth about drugs in a way that will change their minds about drugs and ensure they stay away from them!

To illustrate the effectiveness of doing so, I'd like to share with you some results from our school sponsorship campaign.

Since 1995 Friends of Narconon has been providing drug education videos to schools across America.

Thanks to generous sponsorships, we've been able to expand our activity to 6,000 public schools reaching over 7 million students.

So, can you do something about the drug problem?
