Do You Know Who's Dirty?

I found out something interesting recently, while talking to an employment agency executive: They have a hard time finding potential employees who would test "clean" for drugs.

Eight out of ten people coming through their agency are "dirty" (test positive for drugs), which makes them unemployable.

The drug most commonly showing in their drug tests is Marijuana, with amphetamine (speed) being a close second.

He indicated that the situation had gotten worse and their business suffers because of it.

The businesses relying on their services also feel the pinch whenever qualified workers are too scarce.

So who is clean and who is dirty?

Can you tell?

A sober person could be working right next to a drug user without even suspecting it!

Some drug users have a certain control they manage to maintain at the work place, at least for a while.

Eventually, their life spirals out of control.

If you are around when that happens, you could become part of the spiral.

In fact, this agency had some pretty sad stories about that.

So how can you ensure this does not affect you?

First off, you need to know and be able to recognize the signs and symptoms of drug use.

Doing that early enough and reporting or helping someone in time, can avoid a lot of trouble.

Of course, getting them drug tested is a sure-fire way to let the cat out of the bag!

That is why we added the feature Why Parents Are the Last to Know to our Marijuana-The Myth DVD.

Not only does it uncover why parents are so often the last to know their kid has a drug problem, it also goes into detail on how to spot the signs and symptoms of drug use.

If you work around a lot of people or rely on various people in your everyday life, then you need this information.

Don't leave home without it!

If you are also a parent, this information is even more critical.

Even if your kids are "doing fine" you need to have this information so that you may pass it on to them to help them help their friends and, one day, their own kids.

An additional feature on Marijuana-The Myth is Why Kids Take Drugs.

It takes the mystery out of the reasons peopoe turn to drugs and arms you with valuable information to help those you care about.
