Let's Give Drug Addicts Clean Needles!?

I have recently told you about a group called the "Drug Policy Alliance."

I'd like to remind you of the true nature of this group.

But rather than me going on about their "anti-drug" educational approach, let me give you this quote, right from their website:

"Many of the problems the drug war purports to resolve are in fact caused by the drug war itself. So-called “drug-related” crime is a direct result of drug prohibition's distortion of immutable laws of supply and demand. Public health problems like HIV and Hepatitis C are all exacerbated by zero tolerance laws that restrict access to clean needles. The drug war is not the promoter of family values that some would have us believe. Children of inmates are at risk of educational failure, joblessness, addiction and delinquency. Drug abuse is bad, but the drug war is worse." - Drug Policy Alliance

Worse? Like handing out clean needles to heroin addicts is going to make the problem better? Or throwing in the towel and saying that education is going to fail because drug addiction is a disease and cannot be cured?

I think this should be a wake up call for all of us. Remember, this group is well funded and if you think they cannot sell this message to a large part of the population, think again.

Our children are the future. Education is what determines the fate of that future.

I can speak from experience on the subject of drugs. I am a shining example of someone whose addiction was ended through the Narconon program. No, I am not still "in recovery" - I am completely drug free and have been for over 27 years. So there is hope and the "war" can be won.

But more to the point, at Friends of Narconon we have tens of thousands of surveys from students all over the USA who have seen our educational videos and who, as a result, changed their minds on the subject of drugs.

This is enough scientific proof for me to immediately see that the Drug Policy Alliance is way off course. I can assure you handing out clean needles just won't cut it! (Just ask Australia how that program went there.)

You can do something about these problems right now. You can buy our DVD Marijuana The Myth and use it with family and friends, or you can sponsor some schools so their students may receive this valuable information.

School budgets are tight and our children need our help. We've just had an elementary school teacher write in saying their budgets were tight and thanking our sponsors for their generosity. We get these types of letters ALL the time!

Contact Sara Jonic at Friends of Narconon today (1-800-882-6862) to get your copy of the Marijuana The Myth DVD or to sponsor a school. Help us change minds and save lives!

Sincerely,
Robert Hernandez, CCDC*
