Friends of Narconon President's Briefing--Issue 10   PDF  Print  Email

Lights, Camera - Save Lives!

This past weekend marked a milestone in Friends of Narconon's history as well as the entire Narconon network!

Thanks to the wonderful support from our many volunteers and sponsors, Friends of Narconon is on the final stretch of production for our newest film Ecstasy: The Real Story.

In order to release this next film, we need to produce the beginning and ending of it.

Thanks to the gracious hospitality of Dave and Linda Tourje, Friends of Narconon had two days of productive filming in their beautiful South Pasadena home - a perfect setting for the Ecstasy party scene we had to film.

Over 50 volunteer actors and crew participated to make it all happen. We had top-of-the-line equipment and crew running the production. I assure you, from actors to crew, this was a high quality production.

One of our volunteer actors, who played a lead roll in our film, is professional actor Gino Montesinos.

Here is what Gino said about Friends of Narconon's film production: "I've worked on more than 30 high-end network TV sets and countless independent film sets and I have never seen the precision and competence I experienced on this set. As an actor it means a lot. I can tell you that your production stands up to any Hollywood production I have ever been around. I mean it, the crew worked flawlessly, there was no tension on the set and for us as actors, it really makes a big difference. This was a rare experience for me and I thank you for that"!

It 's been a pleasure to work with high-caliber professionals such as Michael Klaumann, who co-directed this with me; Jessica Sterling whose attention to detail was impeccable; and a long list of many others who generously donated their time and talent for the common goal of keeping kids off drugs.

I highly commend our donors and volunteers for their contributions!

Next, we are scheduling the filming of part two - beginning and end. Needless to say, it is very exciting.

Don't worry, you'll get to see a lot of this because we had an entire crew whose job was nothing but getting behind-the-scenes coverage on everything we did.

I can tell you one thing, you are going to just fall over when you hear about the toilet story! But that is material for another briefing!

Sincerely,
Robert Hernandez, CCDC* (Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor)
President, Friends of Narconon, Intl.

PS: If you would like to become part of history, there is still time to help with the next phase of production and get your name in the movies! Contact Donna Miller at 1-800-882-6862 for more details!
