This book, Helping Someone Overcome Addiction, is a very practical guide to me as a mother of an addict.

To all my questions from, why is this happening?, to why can't I help him stop?, to how can he quit?

I found answers that helped me understand drug cravings, nutritional deficiencies and what the problem really is at the root of [it all].

I feel that the book establishes some very basic and grounded reasoning which in turn gives me hope and guidance in dealing with my son.

The section on "Problems Defined" has practical insight which can help anyone understand a way through personal conflict and indecision.
