When I came to Narconon of Georgia I was broken mentally, physically and spiritually.

When I looked in the mirror I could not stand the man looking back at me - he disgusted me.

I had been to treatment before - 4 times to be exact.

This form of treatment was a whole new idea to me. They said they were going to teach me to be responsible for myself. I always thought I was very responsible, but I’ve learned now that I was not.

One of the first steps was to spend time in the sauna to sweat out some of the drug residues in my body. I spent 21 days in the sauna After those days I feel 10 years younger. My senses were so much better I couldn’t believe it.

The next steps are books on how to change your life. When I did the book on ethics and morals it changed my life. I realized that I had lived my life without any ethics or morals.

My motto used to be “Do what I want, when I want, no matter who it hurts.” I will now live my life with ethics and morals so I can be truly happy with who I am.

I came to Georgia to learn how not to do drugs, so my life would get under control, but when I leave Georgia I now know how I am going to live my life. And I know it will be much better than ever before.

Now when I look in the mirror, I like that man looking back at me. I respect that man.
