Kirstie Alley Supports Narconon   PDF  Print  Email

Emmy award-winning actress Kirstie Alley became the spokesperson for Narconon International in 1990.

Her concern about the increased drug use by young people prompted her to start the Narconon Drug-Free Hero awards, through which deserving volunteers who have made major contributions towards creating a drug-free world are selected and awarded by Narconon.

Kirstie was also instrumental in helping establish...

the Narconon Chilocco New Life Center in Oklahoma, which became Narconon's premiere rehabilitation and training center and which later expanded to become the prestigious Narconon Arrowhead facility.

Kirstie has made numerous media appearances, sponsored special events, participated in drug-free Narconon All-Star softball games, and continues to campaign for a drug-free world.

Kirstie's story:

“I support Narconon because it works.

“I've seen it handle the most hard-core addicts, the kind that otherwise spend their whole lives fighting addiction.

“The Narconon program doesn't just ‘help them learn to live with their problem.' It banishes the problem forever.

“The withdrawal program is totally unique. It's virtually pain-free, and it doesn't use drugs. The sauna sweat out actually makes it possible to eliminate drug residues from the body, totally ending drug cravings.

“A whole series of courses have been developed that give addicts the skills they need to repair their lives, and to survive well. All of this is based on the work of L. Ron Hubbard, who was at least half a century ahead of anyone else in the field of drug rehabilitation.

“Frankly, it's miraculous. Every time I see a graduate of the Narconon program, I know that my commitment is worthwhile.”
