I'm very grateful for the ways I've changed during the course of the NARCONON® program.

Looking back, I remember the person I was when I first walked into the facility. I was someone who was soft-spoken, irresponsible, dependent, without goals and did not have the know-how to deal with the many situations life throws at you. I did not have any reason to change.

I was comfortable where I was. Coming into Narconon Arrowhead, I did not expect to change my old ways. I had in my mind that I was going to go through the program, please my parents, and continue doing what I was doing.

During the course of this program I learned to really understand people who I talked to. But, most important, I learned to truly listen and understand myself.

There is one part of me that has never changed and will never change. It's my belief that I will become very successful someday in my life.

There is a part of me that has changed; I learned that I can start doing something to change my life and be successful. I'm working out everyday, reading everyday to increase my knowledge, and I'm saving money to gain financial stability.

I am simply sharing this to let you know what I am doing to bring this success into my life and live by my own design and not by the default of others.

I'm doing it right now and right here at Narconon Arrowhead. As it turned out Narconon Arrowhead helped me gain many realizations about myself and my well being and its helped me find what's inside me to live a happy, successful, and more fulfilling life in the present.

I'd like to finish this story by expressing my gratitude to the staff and faculty members that have encouraged me, listened to me, and kept me on track to achieve a drug-free life. Thank you.
