Real Success Stories
"Up until a year ago, I thought I’d lost my son forever. He had gotten addicted to cocaine, and no matter what we did, he couldn’t seem to stop. He went through treatment after treatment. But it seemed hopeless. He’d stay clean for a few weeks or months and then disappear. I’m a doctor, and I felt that if anyone should be able to help, it should have been me. But the cravings were just too strong for him to overcome. Then we heard about Narconon New Life Center. They explained addiction to me in language that made sense. I decided to give it one more try and today I’m glad I did. Today I have a son again." - Dr. Lloyd Austin

Crack cocaine had stripped me of everything that I held dear. I had completely given up, surrendering myself to a drug that was eventually going to end my life. Why try? That was the motto I lived by. Who cares? Another favorite of mine.

Well I can tell you that someone did care. I came to Narconon Arrowhead in 2004 completely confused and utterly hopeless. Basically I went because I had nowhere else to go. I had burned all of the bridges and I was not even allowed in my own parent's house. I decided upon arriving that I would give the program an honest chance. What did I have to lose?

I am sitting at a PC typing a letter to tell you how wonderful my life is now a PC that a year ago would have been in the local pawnshop. I have a job, a car, and my own place today. But most of all, I have my life back.

I cannot put into words how grateful I am to Narconon Arrowhead and all the staff there. These guys believed in me when I could not, they helped me when I refused to help myself, and they showed me how to live again. If I can change, anyone can. I was a lost soul and Narconon allowed me to find myself. I am not going to lie and say life is a bed of roses these days, but at least I am the one in control of the garden.
