Ages 8-12. Educates young kids about alcohol and the media and the influences the media has on you. They’ll also learn how drugs actually effect the mind. It’s fun and entertaining while at the same time providing a serious message at a level young kids will relate to!

Included in this DVD are the two new bonus features:

1. Why Parents are The Last to Know
Adults. This video is a real shocker to parents. Friends of Narconon gained access to young teens in rehabilitation to interview them about their problem and why they thought parents were always the last to know about their kid's drug problem. The most shocking thing here is that all the kids from different locations had the same thing to say about why that is. You need to see it to believe it. Plus you'll hear parents saying exactly what the kids say about them! A must see for any family member. Also included is a segment on how to spot signs and symptoms of drug use and what parents
can do when they find out their kids have a drug problem. You'll also hear parents success stories about their kids completing the Narconon program.

2. Why Kids Take Drugs
Adults. This video provides an inside look at the drug problem in today's schools as told by the students who attend them. You'll hear why they think kids take drugs and just how bad they feel the drug problem really is.

TermDefinition
Alcohol The world's most popular drug and legally used in most countries. Alcohol is produced through the fermentation of fruits, vegetables or grains.
Drugs Drugs essentially are poisons. The degree they are taken determines the effect. A small amount acts as a stimulant. A greater amount acts as a sedative. A larger amount acts as a poison and can kill one dead. This is true of any drug. Each has a different amount at which it gives those results.
Narconon A drug rehabilitation program using L. Ron Hubbard's technology. It is a non-religious, non-profit organization that was originally organized in Arizona State Prison by an inmate who was himself a drug addict. He put to use the basic principles of the mind contained in books by L. Ron Hubbard and, by doing so, completely cured his addiction and helped twenty other inmates do the same. Narconon means non-narcotics or no drugs. There are now Narconon centers in many areas around the world. In the Narconon program, no drugs whatever are used for withdrawal, and the usual withdrawal effects, such as those experienced by quitting drugs "cold turkey," are most often completely avoided.
