Prevent Drug Abuse - National Institute on Drug Abuse Released Study on Economic Cost of Abuse!

Term	Definition
Alcohol	The world's most popular drug and legally used in most countries. Alcohol is produced through the fermentation of fruits, vegetables or grains.
Narconon	A drug rehabilitation program using L. Ron Hubbard's technology. It is a non-religious, non-profit organization that was originally organized in Arizona State Prison by an inmate who was himself a drug addict. He put to use the basic principles of the mind contained in books by L. Ron Hubbard and, by doing so, completely cured his addiction and helped twenty other inmates do the same. Narconon means non-narcotics or no drugs. There are now Narconon centers in many areas around the world. In the Narconon program, no drugs whatever are used for withdrawal, and the usual withdrawal effects, such as those experienced by quitting drugs "cold turkey," are most often completely avoided.
