Friends of Narconon was originally established in the early 1980s by volunteers and celebrities. The purpose was to provide youth with drug-free role models through promotion of anti-drug messages at live events such as celebrity softball games, fundraisers, etc.

Friends of Narconon expanded its efforts and became licensed as a Narconon organization in 1995. Its mission is to bring drug education to the youth of the world through video presentations, written material and ongoing activities.

Friends of Narconon is run by volunteers - parents and professionals in many fields. Friends of Narconon produces the Truth About Drugs video series and runs a membership campaign designed for anyone to help get the word out to our youth.
